The Prestigious Haitian Music Awards was established to recognize current musicians (Konpa, Racine, Hip-hop Kreyol, Arts, Poet and Radio &TV personalities) who have made a significant and lasting contribution to the field of music and who demonstrate a commitment to the broader cause of maintaining music in our country.

Each year, one recipient will be selected from 30 categories and will be recognized for his/her. remarkable impact on the HMI. The eight annual winners will be flown to the host city of the Prestigious Haitian Music Awards to be recognized during Awards Week 2024. The winners will also attend the Prestigious Haitian Music Awards ® ceremony.

The deadline for nominations is April 7. The deadline for applications is August 13, 2023.
