BOARD OF DIRECTORS

1. Chairperson / Board President
Provides overall leadership, governance, strategic direction, and represents PHMA at major institutional and cultural events.

2. Vice Chairperson
Supports the Chairperson and assumes leadership responsibilities when the Chairperson is unavailable.

3. Secretary
Maintains official board records, meeting minutes, resolutions, policies, and organizational documents.

4. Treasurer / Chief Financial Officer
Oversees budgets, financial reporting, sponsorship revenue, expenses, audits, and financial controls.

5. Director of Governance & Compliance
Ensures PHMA operates according to its policies, legal requirements, conflict-of-interest rules, and ethical standards.

6. Director of Music & Industry Relations
Maintains relationships with artists, producers, DJs, musicians, record labels, managers, and other music-industry professionals.

7. Director of Cultural Affairs
Leads PHMA’s cultural initiatives and ensures Haitian heritage, history, and cultural excellence are properly represented.

8. Director of International Relations
Develops relationships with Haitian communities, cultural institutions, governments, organizations, and partners internationally.

9. Director of Marketing & Communications
Oversees branding, public relations, media strategy, social media, advertising, and PHMA’s public image.

10. Director of Sponsorship & Partnerships
Develops corporate sponsorships, strategic partnerships, donations, and institutional relationships.

11. Director of Events & Production
Provides board-level oversight of the annual awards ceremony, red carpet, performances, VIP experience, and production.

Nomination Committee → Nominees and category evaluation
Executive/Production Team → Day-to-day operations and event execution

PHMA’s current materials describe a nomination committee of industry professionals and indicate that public voting and committee/judging mechanisms can both contribute to award decisions.
